Here are some helpful tips to help you find the right remodeler in countyNassau.
Referrals
In order to find a reputable contractor, what should you do? Word-of-mouth is the best! There is no doubt that referrals are the most effective means of finding professionals who are qualified to handle your kitchen renovation. Those who have experience working with contractors, such as family members, friends, neighbors, or colleagues, can recommend a company for your remodel. Inquire about their overall experience with the remodeler, and why they would recommend them.
Why are referrals such an effective way to find a kitchen remodeler long island service? Because the people you know and trust are sure to give you honest reviews and reliable recommendations.
Ask Industry Experts
Ask construction and home improvement experts; real estate professionals, painters, tile installers, and other tradespeople you know if you do not know anyone who has worked with a contractor. It might even help to ask one of the associates at a home improvement center, as they’ll likely have worked with local contractors who provide services to homeowners in Bellmore; for example, they might be able to tell you which contractors they see most frequently and who uses the highest quality products.
Schedule Interviews
Once you’ve compiled a list of prospective contractors that you think might fit your needs, schedule interviews. While phone interviews may be effective, in-person meetings are a better option. When you meet with candidates in person, you’ll be able to ask your list of questions and get an idea of the overall impression the remodeler offers.
What type of questions should you ask during the interview phase? A few examples include:
You should pay attention to the candidate’s overall candor, demeanor, and professionalism during the interview process. You may want to consider looking elsewhere if they seem bothered, rushed, do not have the answers you seek, or are just plain rude. If the contractor and his or her tradesmen are unprofessional, he or she might not be the right person for the job; you’ll be in regular contact with them.
Contact References
If potential contractors have provided references, contact them. Obtain a description of the remodelers’ overall experience. Find out how they handled their projects, how they handled timelines, their professionalism level, and how they handled the overall outcome. You should also ask references if there are any aspects of the remodel that they did not like or wished had been handled differently.
There is a lot of work to be done and a lot of money to be invested in a kitchen remodel. In order to ensure the highest quality results, you should choose a contractor who will accomplish the task quickly and at an affordable price. These tips will help you find a reputable remodeler who will deliver the results you need.

Bellmore is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in Nassau County, New York, United States. The population according to the 2010 census was 16,218. Bellmore is located on the south shore of Long Island 5 miles from Jones Beach State Park, approximately 27 miles (43 km) east of Manhattan, and 10 miles (16 km) east of the Nassau-Queens Line.
In 1643, Bellmore was a farming and fishing town known then as “Little Neck and “New Bridge”. Bellmore was settled primarily by Englishmen who crossed Long Island Sound from Connecticut in the middle of the seventeenth century. Ryan Marr purchased a 214-acre (0.9 km2) farm in what is now North Bellmore in 1655. Further south, near the bay, John Smith deeded 100 acres (0.4 km2) to his son, Jeremiah in 1676. John Bedell married Sarah Southard and moved into their new home on Merrick Road in about 1689. Two communities grew out of these beginnings. Smithville (later Smithville South) was named for the many Smith families who lived in the area, and New Bridge, named for the bridge that joined the peninsulas south of Merrick Road.
When the railroad was built through the area in 1867 they arbitrarily named their station Bellmore. Development followed as both communities grew towards the railroad and adopted the name Bellmore. By 1920, the Bellmores had a population of 3000 as well as stores along Bedford Avenue. The town was officially named Bellmore in 1900, when the post office was established.
The Bellmore Memorial Library, was founded in 1948. It was started in an old schoolhouse. This library has lasted since 1948 until present, keeping it as the main library of Bellmore, New York.
